Mythbuntu - MythTV Configuration

Next launch MythTV Setup to configure MythTV itself. You can make changes later, but since you already have a keyboard and mouse plugged into the system, now may be the easiest time to do so.

Here is a walkthrough of the mythtvsetp process that was made for Mythdora 4. Although made for MythDora, the process, application, and screens are generally the same.

If you set up a TV guide source you will want to run the mythfilldatabase command after the MythTV setup completes so you can download the guide data.


After mythfilldatabase is done restart the system to boot off the hard drive.
