MythWeb is the web browser interface to MythTV. MythWeb is one of the features that makes MythTV such a nice digital video recorder.
One downside of most set-top video recording devices is you have to manage them using a TV screen. Aside from newer HDTV televisions, more often then not you are using a very low resolution screen that can't really compare with interacting with a computer screen. MythWeb is a solution to this problem.
MythWeb allows you to perform a number of MythTV functions using any web browser than can connect to your MythTV backend.
MythWeb provides:
- Browse TV listings
- Search TV listing
- Manage previously recorded content
- View/Edit upcoming scheduled recordings
- Resolve recording conflicts
- View MythTV Backend Status
- View/Modify some MythTV Backend settings
On my MythDora based system, I access MythWeb just by entering the address of my MythTV Backend into my web browser.
